A Note From Our Pastor

I want to take this opportunity to introduce you to Cedar Grove Baptist Church. It is our desire to lead our community and world to faith in Christ and prepare each individual to serve others in ways that would glorify God and bring people to trust in Christ.

Our church is involved with missions at home and around the world through the various programs in our church. AWANA is a program designed to teach the Scripture to children from age 3 up through the 5th grade. It includes Scripture memorization, council time and game time.

Our home mission outreach includes UPWARD Basketball and Cheerleading. We at present are the home of Scott County Upward. It is our desire to provide a fun, learning time of the sport and at the same time bring children to faith in Christ through devotions and Scripture memorization during their practice time and their parents and guests during half time devotions on game days.

We are also involved in missions in Africa, Brazil, Guatemala, and India.

Cedar Grove is a family friendly church. We seek to meet the needs of families, young and older. We are excited to offer many opportunities for families in Sunday School classes, Junior and Little Church services and worship services.
