About Us
Deacons
"Deacons, likewise, are to be men worthy of respect, sincere, not indulging in much wine, and not pursuing dishonest gain. They must keep hold of the deep truths of the faith with a clear conscience. They must first be tested; and then if there is nothing against them, let them serve as deacons. In the same way, their wives are to be women worthy of respect, not malicious talkers but temperate and trustworthy in everything. A deacon must be the husband of but one wife and must manage his children and his household well." - 1 Timothy 3:8-12

Sabrina and I have been with Cedar Grove since 1998. We are servants of Jesus Christ and His church which in turn leads us to help and serve others. I wear many different hats in life but I can confidently say that I am happiest when I am sharing God's love with people. I support my pastor and the church and if you ever have a need or just want someone to pray with then please let me know.

My wife Darlene and I have been members of Cedar Grove since 1987. The desire of my heart is to be a good servant of our Lord Jesus Christ, by being of service to others. Growing closer to our Lord everyday, through prayer and bible study. Leaning not to my own understanding but in all things Trust in the creator, the one and only God.

My wife Dianna and I have been members of Cedar Grove since 2000. Our goals are to help our church reach Stamping Ground and Scott County for Christ, and to support our pastor as God leads him as he leads our church. We also support our church members spiritually through prayer and physically as needs arise.

My wife Julie and I have been members since we were kids. My goal as a deacon is to be a servant for the church, support our pastor, and encourage unity within the church body. I am here to listen to any concerns you may have and to support you in times of rejoicing and in crisis. I also want to challenge and encourage you to actively participate in church ministries, fellowships, but most importantly to grow deeper in your walk with Christ. As a body of believers our goal is to further the kingdom of Christ, to see broken lives restored, and to help one another grow in our faith. I will be praying for you and your family.

As a deacon it is a privilege to lead families, with a servant's heart, in times of despair and great blessings.
