PASTOR

Bro. Landon T. Copley is the pastor at Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Stamping Ground, Kentucky. He has been serving as the pastor since March of 2023. He is married to Lori Copley, and they have two daughters: Leighton and Lottie Copley.

Landon is a graduate of Clear Creek Baptist Bible College with a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministry. He is a graduate of Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity in Christian Ministry. He has been in ministry for nearly a decade serving as both a pastor and youth pastor. His favorite thing about ministry is studying the truth of God’s Word and sharing it with others.

Landon enjoys reading, playing music, being outdoors, spending time with friends, and rooting for the Kentucky Wildcats, Tennessee Titans, and Chicago Cubs. He is also a huge fan of anything Star Wars!

I feel a calling to minister to the children of Cedar Grove and Stamping Ground. I strive to provide a fun, engaging atmosphere in which kids can expand their knowledge and love for God, and a welcoming community. I am thankful that God is allowing me to serve in the church I have grown up in, and I am blessed to be a part of our kiddos lives!
