“Deacons, likewise, are to be men worthy of respect, sincere, not indulging in much wine, and not pursuing dishonest gain. They must keep hold of the deep truths of the faith with a clear conscience. They must first be tested; and then if there is nothing against them, let them serve as deacons. In the same way, their wives are to be women worthy of respect, not malicious talkers but temperate and trustworthy in everything.  A deacon must be the husband of but one wife and must manage his children and his household well.”

Worship Leader
Leading worship has been one of the biggest surprises and one of the greatest joys of my life. It is an honor to serve the Lord at Cedar Grove alongside some incredible servant-hearted musicians and technicians, as we strive to bring glory to God in our moments together as a church family. We seek the Lord’s guidance in planning services and are careful to select songs that not only have a beautiful melody, but also rich, theological lyrics. I pray God would be exalted, the Church would be encouraged as we worship in spirit and in truth, and we would carry songs of praise with us as we go out into our lives throughout the week.

Children's Director
I feel a calling to minister to the children of Cedar Grove and Stamping Ground.  I strive to provide a fun, engaging atmosphere in which kids can expand their knowledge and love for God, and a welcoming community.  I am thankful that God is allowing me to serve in the church I have grown up in, and I am blessed to be a part of our kiddos lives!
